Why we exist
Hardship is rarely a single problem. Money worries, interrupted schooling, unmet health needs, closed doors to work and a fraying sense of belonging feed one another.

How we are funded
Rigel Trust deliberately diversifies its income so no single source leaves the community vulnerable. Five funding models work together to keep our work stable, independent and responsive.
Philanthropic Endowments & Legacies
Large-sum donations and legacy investments are preserved as permanent capital, funding operations through interest yields and dividends for multi-generational viability.
Institutional & Government Grants
Service delivery contracts and national lottery allocations support hyper-local services, infrastructure projects and time-bound community programmes.
CSR Partnerships
Corporate sponsors back events and match employee donations, while in-kind support provides pro-bono labour, legal advice, digital tools and office space.
Earned-Income & Social Trading
Social enterprises and fee-for-service programmes — from community cafés to corporate workshops — feed 100% of profit surpluses back into charitable projects.
Grassroots Community Fundraising
